KSL called today and said that her story got on to AOL.com and in one day it had 59,000 hits. They want to interview her tomorrow at 11:30am. We told Emm a little bit ago and she said, "cool".
She had a great time at her class Christmas party where they made cookie trains. I posted some pictures on the "love4emmalee" blog. It was nice for emmalee to be able to see her friends and thank them for all the support they have given her. It made it a lot easier for her to show up today. She even felt brave enough to take off her hat. All those kids are awesome!
I hope that if she tolerates this new medication well and her counts stay high she will be able to go back to school after Christmas break.
So far no noticeable side effects from this new medication.
